Ruislip Woods Photography Competition 2010

The 2010 RWT Photographic Competition was judged at the Woods Festival and the entries displayed on Willow Lawn. Thank you to everyone who entered. Thank you also to Steve Pash who had the difficult task of picking a winner.

There was a very strong field of entries for last year’s Photographic Competition. The theme for the competition was : “Ruislip Woods – Escape the city”. This brief was interpreted in a number of interesting ways.

The winner of first prize was Carol Furness for a beautiful picture of one of the lakes. She was awarded a cash prize of £100 and the Dorris Dismore plate to display on her mantelpiece for one year.

2nd prize of £50 went to Margaret Massey for another beautiful picture of the woods in winter.
3rd prize of £25 went to Dave Peters for a picture of a bowler hatted City Gent in the woods.
Another one of last year's entries that we particularly liked. This shot was taken by Carol Furness......
