Ruslip Woods Festival 2015

Festival Banner

The festival took place on Sunday 10th May 2015

We were lucky again with the weather for this year’s Festival and a record number of people enjoyed the day – nearly 4,000.

John the Falconer returned by popular demand and the antics of his birds entertained the crowd. Lots of people tried their hand at different skills like archery and using the special telescopes to view the sun.

Brian the chainsaw carver produced a magnificent woodman’s head sculpture. This was keenly fought over in the silent auction, the proceeds of which go to the Trust, enabling it to support the Classroom in the Woods and other educational projects.
